Fills can now be filtered across multiple markets
The October 8 entry in Kalshi’s API changelog adds a multi-market filter to GET /portfolio/fills. The ticker parameter now accepts a comma-separated list of up to 100 tickers.
What the documentation says
The endpoint reference separately describes cursor pagination, a per-page result limit, timestamp filters, and an optional subaccount filter. The default page size is 100 fills. That is a different limit from the number of market tickers in the request. Get Fills reference.
Why it matters
Our interpretation: a reconciliation tool can group a known set of markets into one filtered request, then continue through its result pages. This can simplify the request plan for a watchlist or a group of related trades.
It does not establish that one response contains every fill for an account, or that a particular bot has adopted the change. We have not run an authenticated portfolio query for this note.
What to verify in a client
- Confirm the selected ticker set matches the records you intend to reconcile.
- Check that the client continues through returned cursors.
- Record the time window and account scope alongside the export.
- Compare a small sample against the account’s own records before relying on totals.
